PLANE design study
PLANE PHONE is a mock-up study designed for the PLANE office when the company was founded. At that time, round-shaped desk phones were mainstream in the market, all of which were round like a steamed bun. Therefore, we decided to produce a mock-up for a well-designed round phone. The circular section with the numeric keypad and display rotates, allowing you to position the handset freely. The frequently used voicemail set/playback keys are located in the corner, and the absence of a receiver on the handle of the handset makes it easier to pick up. This design study implemented a method of determining form according to the necessary function and following logic.
